International Women's Day (IWD) 2006 - Community Involvement

The Women's Commission is undertaking two IWD-related initiatives in support of the Commission's coming five years' overarching theme of "Together We Build a Harmonious Community". The two initiatives are: (a) to organise a mini-exhibition on good practices on women's contribution towards promoting family and social harmony; and (b) to produce information leaflets listing activities of various organisations to celebrate IWD or activities with the themes of family/social harmony. We invite all interested organisations and community groups to participate in these two activities. With your strong support, we believe that we could work together to make the 2006 IWD the most meaningful and widely celebrated! (Programme Details and Means to participate)
